Botox ® has long been a trusted therapeutic choice for non-cosmetic use. Over 10 years ago, the Canadian government approved Botox ® for the treatment of opthalmic disorders associated with muscle over activity such as misalignment of the eyes and contractions of the eyelids. Since then, it has also received approval to relieve a variety of conditions involving hyperactive muscles-including cerebral palsy in children.

Botox ® is the most common Cosmetic procedure in North America (American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), used by millions of men and women.

Botox ® injection should be repeated every 3-4 months.

Juvederm and Restylane are the only product to utilize NASHA, or Non-animal, Stabilized, Hyaluronic acid. Q-Med, the manufacturer of Restylane for Medicis Aesthetics in North America, has a long record of success with many satisfied users. More than 1.5 million treatments have been carried out in 60 countries around the world.

Hyaluronic acid is one of very few substances that is identical in all species and tissue types. Thus, it can be used in many applications such as restoring youthful resilience to your skin by simply adding to your natural supply.

As a totally non-animal product, there is no risk of transmitting disease or eliciting allergic reaction in patients who are sensitive to common foods, such as beef, chicken and eggs. Because Restylane is non- animal-based and fully biocompatible, allergy testing is not required.

Fillers may need to be repeated every 6-12 months, but occasionally last several years. Botox ® and Fillers together potentiate each others effect, with longer-lasting better results.
